Of course, there is no wrong way to play Elvenar but you will save a lot of precious city space if you concentrate on boosted goods. In the beginning, this difference may be minimal but the longer you play and the higher you increase your % boost, the bigger the difference will get. You should notice that you will produce more for your boosted good than the other two. You can see for yourself - after unlocking the tier 1 boost in the research tree, compare the production amounts for 3 hours for each of Marble, Planks and Steel. It is far efficient if you concentrate on producing only your boosted goods and trading with your neighbours and/or fellowship members for goods you are not boosted in. You are able to increase the production boosts of your boosted goods by obtaining more relics for those particular goods (up to 700%!) and so it is just a lot more efficient if you utilise this. | | | What are Boosted Goods and why should I care? There are also only a few possible combinations of boosted goods: Tier 1 Every player will be what is called Boosted in one of each tier standard goods which are all randomly assigned based on where you are located on the map when your city is first formed. Standard Goods come in three sets or tiers. Standard Goodsįinally, the last main resource are the Standard Goods which are produced in the corresponding Manufactory. Build culture buildings to improve your Culture score - note that the vast majority of these buildings do not need to be directly connected to the Main Hall! Utilise these buildings and fill gaps in your city layout. The more culture you have and the greater the Culture surplus, the higher the production bonus you can receive. There are some culture buildings that may also provide population.Ĭulture is required to keep your inhabitants happy and increase production efficiency. These buildings need to be directly connected using streets to the Main Hall. Population is required to fill your city! They will be put to work inside production buildings (workshops and manufactories) and population can be increased by building and levelling up Residence buildings. The next two main resources are Population and Culture. Shorter production times will produce smaller amounts but have better production rates than longer production timers. Supplies are produced in Workshops and different types/duration will produce varying amounts. The first two main resources are Coins and Supplies.Ĭoins are automatically produced overtime from residences and can be obtained from giving neighbourly help to your neighbours and/or Fellowship Members or receiving neighbourly help from others on your Main Hall. In Elvenar, there are a few different types of resources you'll need to maintain to progress: Coins and Supplies Resources and Boosted Goods Types of Resources How to find out what your Boosted Goods are. What are Boosted Goods and why should I care?.
The only reason why you will need the goods to the right of your boosted is from the Elementals guest race you unlock things called Sentient goods.
I can for example make 6967 steel from one level 27 steel manufactory in 9 hours compared to 730 planks from one level 26 planks manufactory.
There is nothing wrong with this way of playing.ĮDIT: also, definitely build more of your boosted and none of your non-boosted (only exception is level 1 buildings for use in events of course) and trade. I am in the last guest race called the Amuni but until recently I was also mostly playing boosted goods with no military. You will also need either a good trading fellowship or to expand your map by scouting and unlocking more neighbours, hopefully active ones who can take trades. You want as many relics of these three to boost how much you can produce the basic max is 700% but you can increase that with the mountain halls ancient wonder for example. On Mobile, the easiest way to tell which ones are yours is if you go to the world map you will see three relic symbols at the top left. I for example am boosted in Steel, Crystal and Elixir. What you will find is that you are what they call boosted in one of each tier goods.
